A 40-YEAR-OLD man was sentenced to 10 years in jail by a sessions court on Monday for pelting stones and flinging a small rod at Mumbai local trains in Kurla causing injuries to passengers in 2019. The court found Rakesh Rod guilty on charges of attempt to murder in four separate cases.
In the first case, a student was returning from his college towards his residence in Ghatkopar in the evening on July 16, 2019.
While he was standing near the footboard at Kurla station, a stone pelted towards the compartment hit him on his head.
