A MAN was electrocuted to death during a religious procession near Godiya Chetanya Mandir, Sector 20, on Saturday.
The victim was later identified as one Ravi Kumar, a resident of Delhi, by the police.
As per eyewitnesses, the incident took place around 7 pm when the religious procession was making its way through Sector 20 during a spell of rainfall. The man, Ravi Kumar, is said to have come in contact with a naked loose hanging live wire and electrocuted to death at the spot.Kumar’s body was kept in the mortuary at GMSH-16.
