Ten elevated, railway and drain overbridges in North and Outer Delhi, which provide connectivity to the central part of the city, are soon going to get a makeover, said officials.
According to a senior Public Works Department (PWD) officer, these bridges are very old and in dire need of repair and redevelopment.
“Potholes, broken surfaces, and worn-out carpetings are affecting traffic movement and also sometimes increasing the chances of accidents. These are the key stretches that connect central Delhi and New Delhi with North Delhi,” said the official.
