Electric mobility and EV charging solutions provider, Magenta Mobility, announced its entrance into the Surat market in Gujarat. This expansion is in line with Magenta Mobility’s ongoing efforts to increase its operations across India. The move into Surat is strategized to aid local businesses in decreasing CO2 emissions and promoting sustainable logistics.
Magenta Mobility has introduced its fleet of EVs (3W and 4W Cargo Fleet) to the streets of Surat, furthering the goal of reducing carbon emissions in logistics across India.
The launch event in Surat was attended by Gaurav VK Singhvi, representing JITO-JIIF. Singhvi stated during the event that Surat’s willingness to adopt cleaner modes of transportation resonates with Magenta Mobility’s objective to promote electric mobility in Indian logistics.
Maxson Lewis, the Founder and Managing Director of Magenta Mobility, noted that the city has been receptive to EVs and hopes that Magenta Mobility’s presence will further enhance electric vehicle adoption in the area.
Magenta Mobility has set a goal to increase the number of electric vehicles on the road from its current count to 10,000 by 2024. Presently, the company operates in several cities including Bengaluru, Mysuru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Noida, and Gurgaon, managing a fleet of over 1,200 electric vehicles, catering to clients in various sectors such as e-commerce, grocery delivery, FMCG, food, and pharmaceuticals.
