KOLKATA: Movement on the Maa-bound flank of the AJC Bose Road flyover link was severely disrupted all through Wednesday after the KMDA scrapped off the top layer of the road on Tuesday night, as scheduled under the repair project.
The East Guard and Tiljala Guard have both sent SOS to KMDA and KMC (who supply bitumen) to complete work at the earliest. “We expect work to be over by Friday morning. For this, we are ready to provide an additional hour or two for KMDA to speed up work. We are praying there are no rains on Thursday early morning,” said a Lalbazar officer.
