BENGALURU: Central Crime Branch (CCB) sleuths raided an illegal gas-refilling centre in Girinagar on Friday and seized 64 cylinders along with filling equipment, all worth over Rs 4 lakh.
Suresh, owner of Manjunath Lubricants & Electricals on Girinagar Main Road, was arrested. Sleuths said the raid was conducted following information that Suresh was refilling LPG from domestic cylinders into commercial ones illegally. Not only was he flouting various safety rules he was also putting others’ lives at risk, they said.
