Hyderabad: People can cheer ahead of the festive season with cooking gas prices being slashed. From Wednesday onwards, the price of LPG will be 955 for a 14.2 kg cylinder. There are over one crore LPG consumers across Telangana, 29 lakh are in Greater Hyderabad.
The Centre had slashed LPG prices by 200 ahead of Rakshabandhan and Onam. The revised prices of LPG cylinders will come into force at all three PSUs, HPC, BPC, and IOC from Wednesday, according to Ashok Kumar, president, GHMC LPG Dealers Association, said. In March, the LPG price had been hiked from 1,105 to 1,155 for a cylinder.
