LPG cylinders reaching kitchens would now carry messages asking people to cast their votes in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on May 19.
Cylinders with stickers carrying messages like ‘Vote karega sara Patna ‘ (entire Patna would cast votes ) were flagged off by district magistrate DM Kumar Ravi on Wednesday, reiterating the district administration’s commitment to make the electorate aware of their rights and motivate people to turn up in large numbers at polling booths and cast their votes.
Gas cylinders with awareness stickers carrying the district’s logo would reach thousands of households, be it in villages, panchayats or urban homes and remind people to exercise their voting rights, said Ravi.
