Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Monday said that till date around 33 lakh women have been freed from the suffocation of smoke and linked with Ujjwala Yojana.
During a meeting of twenty point implementation committee on Monday Das directed the officials to link the remaining deserving families to the scheme in the month of September. “Under Ujjwala Scheme we have to provide a gas stove, and first and second cylinder refill for free to the beneficiaries,” he said.
Addressing the officials Das said that they should work on war footing just like earlier to link the remaining beneficiaries. “Working in coordination with village, panchayat, block and district level will help achieving the target sooner,” he said.
