BENGALURU: You could call Kaggere Manjunath’s performance electrifying. After all, he is a Bescom lineman who loves theatre.
On Friday, he blended his passion with professional concerns and performed a one-man show, Shakti Mitra, driving home the importance of safe practices to prevent electricity accidents that are mostly caused by ignorance or carelessness.
The show, directed by Yogesh Master, depicted the life of a lineman and showcased how safety tools and precautions are crucial when dealing with electricity. The 40-minute show at Nayana auditorium on JC Road drew a full house, including Bescom employees and the general public.
