In a rare instance, a leading Chinese solar panel component producer has accused fellow Chinese manufacturers of colluding together to restrict supply and artificially increase prices of solar components during the ongoing commodity supercycle. Such cartelisation has a direct bearing on Indian solar power generating companies as they are still overwhelmingly reliant on Chinese supplies.
