Bengaluru: Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation Staff and Workers Union has written to CM Basavaraj Bommai, opposing Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya’s alleged move to hand over KSRTC hospital in Jayanagar to a private family trust.
In the letter, union president HV Anantha Subbarao said KSRTC has been running the hospital in Jayanagar 4th Block for its employees and their family members. “The medical facilities provided to RTC employees and their families are inadequate. We have given alternative proposals for a medical scheme. But there have been no talks.”
