This particular section, eagerly awaiting the start of commercial services, underwent scrutiny according to an official statement.
The Chief Commissioner of Railway Safety (CCRS), Janak Kumar Garg, led an inspection of a crucial stretch of the East-West Metro that links Kolkata and Howrah via a tunnel beneath the Hooghly river, covering the 4.8-kilometer stretch from Howrah Maidan to Esplanade.
