Khammam: The amount to be paid on using power will be much less than the amount to be paid as penalty if the officials find that power was being pilfered. This is the message the power authorities want to drive into the minds of the consumers as they expect it will have an impact on them.
Apart from publicising this message, the Transco officials decided to crack a whip on those resorting to power pilferage by taking stern action against them.
