Hyderabad: Congress legislature party leader Bhatti Vikramarka on Saturday demanded that the state government scrap the contract with a private company for the toll collection and maintenance of the Outer Ring Road.
Speaking in the assembly on Saturday, he said the bid amount of 7,380 crore for 30 years which was finalised and awarded to a private agency was depriving the state government of better revenues. He said it should have got more than what the final bid was accepted in the bidding. Bhatti said the toll collection figures in the past few years had shown that the graph would increase and fetch more.
