Juniper Green Energy gets $350-mn investment

Juniper Green Energy, an independent renewable energy power producer on Wednesday said it has bagged $350-million investment by AT Capital Group and Vitol.

This investment will be utilised in reaching the company’s target to triple its operational capacity to 2.5 GW by 2026 and other development plans, said the official press release.

“Their impressive project pipeline, combined with their proficiency in EPC and O&M services, aligns seamlessly with our vision for a sustainable and greener future,” said Sanjay Bakliwal, director, at AT Capital Group.

The increase in investment to $350 million came about two years after the initial commitment of $200 million from AT Capital Group and Vitol, said the press release.

The renewable energy company has an operational portfolio of 800 MW with an under-construction capacity of 435 MW and a development pipeline of over 3 GW across solar, wind and hybrid power projects.
