State-owned NBCC Ltd on Tuesday announced that it has submitted a revised bid for Jaypee Infratech through the insolvency process.
“In consideration of further discussions and meetings with financial creditors and other stakeholders, NBCC has again submitted the revised Resolution Plan for Jaypee Infratech on May 10, 2021,” the company said in a regulatory filing.
Earlier on 29 April, NBCC had said that it sweetened its bid and will offer up to 1,903 acre land parcels to lenders as against the earlier offer of 1,526 acres to acquire Jaypee Infratech.
Las month, NBCC and Mumbai-based Suraksha group had submitted their fresh bids to acquire Jaypee Infratech through the insolvency process, as per the direction of the Supreme Court.
