Encompassing a modernised outlook, the Jammu Tawi Railway Station in Jammu and Kashmir state is set to undergo redevelopment. It will be done under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. Upon completion, the station will feature world-class facilities with sustainable new building designs.
Station code JAT, Jammu Tawi is the largest railway station in this northern state of the country. In the region, it is a major railhead for other places and for tourists heading towards the picturesque Kashmir Valley. From here, the Jammu–Baramulla line begins.
