The Israel-Palestine conflict will not hurt crude oil supplies to India, petroleum and natural minister Hardeep Puri said on Monday, adding that the government is watching the situation very carefully.
Oil prices rose around 3% on Monday to $87 per barrel, following an armed conflict between Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas which left more than 1,000 people dead in three days. Prices were still lower than the $95 per barrel reached two weeks ago.
