AHMEDABAD: Gujarat police on Thursday filed a 1,684-page chargesheet in a magistrate’s court at Mirzapur against 19-year-old Tathya Patel and his father Pragnesh in connection with the Iskcon flyover accident in which nine people were allegedly run over on July 20.
Ahmedabad police commissioner Premveer Singh said that during investigation, Tathya was found to be a habitual offender and he has been booked in two other cases of rash driving after his arrest in the Iskcon flyover case.
Meeting the deadline fixed by Gujarat home minister Harsh Sanghavi, the Ahmedabad Police gathered evidence and submitted its investigation report within a week of the tragedy.
