The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), will start a special train on April 9 for ferrying Sikh pilgrims from Amritsar to Patna Sahib via Bidar in Karnataka and Nanded Sahib in Maharashtra.
Regional manager of IRCTC, Anil Kumar, said on Saturday that the special pilgrimage train will have a capacity to ferry 600 people, with passengers getting the option to board from Chandigarh, Ambala, Jalandhar, New Morinda, Beas, Kurukshetra, Delhi stations also.
The train, titled Guru Kirpa Yatra, has been launched for the first time, Kumar said, and will have 11 coaches — nine of Sleeper Class category, and two other coaches of Second AC
