According to the official sources of the Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), Indian Railways cancelled a total of 205 trains on Monday, September 12. A sum of 351 trains has been affected today, which includes 205 cancelled, 39 source-change, 39 short-terminated, 20 rescheduled and 48 diverted trains.
It is common to have train cancellations, rescheduling and diversions in India. Sometimes, it occurs due to climatic problems, while operational and maintenance issues also play a key role.
