Bengaluru: Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) is working to build a mass blending facility in Chennai to meet the demands of the methanol-diesel trials planned in Bengaluru and Chennai.
Responding to a report titled ‘One month on, BMTC yet to receive bio-diesel for bus trial’, published in these columns on Thursday, IOC said that until its new facility located near the Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited plant is ready, the ‘MD15’ fuel will be supplied from the Faridabad facility at planned intervals.
