The Delhi Government has decided to develop an integrated transit corridor and enhance street network connectivity at the Peeragarhi junction to ease traffic jams during peak hours.
The project will be completed within 18 months. After visiting the junction on Wednesday, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia announced that the Peeragarhi junction from Jwala Heri Market Red Light to Jwalapuri Red Light, NH-10 (Rohtak Road), would be developed as an integrated transit corridor with better connectivity.
The project to decongest Peeragarhi junction will be carried out in a phased manner and will include construction of road over bridge (RoB), foot over bridge (FoB) and underpasses in the area.
