BENGALURU: Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) is confident of completing tests by September 6 to facilitate the opening of the entire Purple Line from Challaghatta to Kadugodi (Whitefield).
Managing director of BMRCL Anjum Parwez said, “On Sunday, we are carrying out a major test on synchronizing the signalling system on the entire corridor. To facilitate that, we have already announced curtailment of services on three stretches of the line. We are hopeful of completing the tests by September 6. The statutory inspection by the Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) is likely to happen after September 7.”
