Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar informed that the infrastructure works are being completed by the power companies in a planned manner in the financial year 2021-22 in view of the Rabi season. This will ensure more quality power supply to agricultural consumers.
In this financial year till September 2021, 9 new ultra high pressure substations, 8 additional power transformer installation works and 11 transformer capacity augmentation works have been completed by the transmission company of the state. This has increased the total transformation capacity by 1766 MVA. In the next three months, 2 new ultra high pressure substations, 20 additional power transformer installations and 4 transformer capacity augmentation works will be completed. This will lead to an additional increase in the transformation capacity of 1859 MVA.
