Faridabad: Haryana will soon have an infrastructure facility for charging all types of electric vehicles (EVs) as the state government has formulated an Electric Vehicle Policy to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles and strengthen charging infrastructure in the state. The policy proposes to create better infrastructure facilities for charging of electric vehicles. This was disclosed by Dr Hanif Qureshi, Director General, Haryana New and Renewable Energy Department, who was the chief guest at the inaugural session of two-day AICTE-sponsored International Conference on ‘Recent Developments in Electrical and Electronics Engineering’ (ICRDEEE 2022) organised by the JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad.
