Indraprastha Gas NSE -0.85 % (IGL) has raised the prices of compressed natural gas (CNG) by 5% and piped natural gas (PNG) by 7% following a sharp increase in domestic natural gas price by the government.
IGL has raised the rate of CNG, used for transport, in Delhi by Rs 2.28 per kg to Rs 47.48 per kg. In Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad, the rates have risen by Rs 2.55 per kg to Rs 53.45, IGL said in a statement.
