BENGALURU: An emergency landing of IndiGo’s Bangkok-bound flight at Myanmar’s Yangon International airport affected 129 passengers on Tuesday. The Indigo 6E 075 flight experienced oil pressure warning on one of its engines.
The flight scheduled to depart from Bengaluru airport at 9.20am left only at 11.20am. It developed snags on its way to Suvarnabhumi airport in Bangkok, forcing the pilot to make an emergency landing.
Six crew members and 129 passengers were on board when the incident occurred. According to IndiGo, “the snag was not observed on the aircraft’s earlier flight.”
