IndiGo announced a flexible payment option allowing customers to secure booking on a domestic flight by paying 10 per cent of the ticket price upfront or minimum Rs 400 per passenger. Customers will have to pay the balance upto fifteen days from date of booking or fifteen days before departure, the airline announced said.
The move will help customers lock in fares and help IndiGo grow bookings as it expects a shift in demand from other airlines.
“We intend to extend this offer for our customers to make their travel more comfortable,” said IndiGo’s chief strategy and revenue officer Sanjay Kumar in a press note.
