Covid-19-battered airline major IndiGo reported, here on Tuesday, over Rs 870 crore net loss for the fourth quarter of 2019-20. The airline had posted Rs 595.8 crore net profit in the year-ago quarter.
The company’s revenue from operations grew 5.3 per cent to Rs 8,299.1 crore in the last quarter of FY20, compared with Rs 7,883.3 crore registered in the same period a year ago.
“We are positioning ourselves to be a stronger brand, to have more efficient fleet and lower cost structure,” IndiGo’s CEO Ronojoy Dutta said.
“We intend to deliver for India, the best air transportation system in the world.”
