NEW DELHI: Afsar Hussain was to reach the “City by the Ganga” but landed in the “City of Lakes” instead.
The turbulence wasn’t in the waters, not even in the air through which he flew, but back on the ground where a series of oversights at IndiGo led to the Patna-bound passenger landing in Udaipur.
The succession of snafus and quirks unfolded at the Delhi airport this Monday (January 30). Eventually, when Hussain found himself in the picturesque Rajasthan town, the airline realised the picture was far from perfect, flew him back to Delhi the same day and to the Bihar capital the next day.
