Mumbai: HDFC Bank, Mastercard and IndiGo have come together for a co-branded credit card, which will offer flyers accelerated rewards for purchase of tickets from the private airline. This is the first time that the budget carrier will be having a rewards programme for customers.
The 6E Rewards XL card will entitle holders to complimentary air ticket worth Rs 3,000 on activation, 6E Prime benefits of priority check-in, choice of seat, and a complimentary meal. It will also provide 5% 6E Rewards on IndiGo transactions and 3% 6E Rewards on dining, entertainment and grocery transactions. The 6E Rewards card will enable cardholders to avail free air ticket worth Rs 1,500 on activation and 2.5% 6E Rewards on IndiGo transactions, among other benefits.
HDFC Bank is the largest private bank and has the largest credit card base of 1.4 crore credit cards in the country, while IndiGo is the largest private carrier in the country.
