IndiGo is considering the possibility of filing an appeal in response to the penalty imposed by the regulator BCAS, amounting to Rs 1.20 crore, for specific violations related to the Mumbai airport incident.
The incident involved numerous passengers disembarking from an IndiGo aircraft, sitting on the tarmac, and some even having meals after their diverted Goa-Delhi flight encountered prolonged delays on January 14, attributed to fog-related issues at Delhi airport.
