Popular Indian airline carrier, Indigo, has launched an AI chatbot named 6Eskai. The chatbot is powered by OpenAI’s GPT-4 technology. IndiGo’s digital team collaborated with Microsoft to develop the 6Eskai chatbot in-house. The AI chatbot also represents a significant milestone for the airline. 6Eskai can efficiently address customer queries in 10 different languages and offers a first-of-a-kind platform for booking tickets across the entire network.
With this announcement, IndiGo became among the first few airlines in India to harness AI technology to enhance customer experience. Early results from the soft launch indicate a significant 75% reduction in customer service agent workload. This showcases the efficiency of the bot.
