In a significant boost for India’s air safety, the UN aviation watchdog International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) has upgraded India’s score in aviation safety. This comes following an audit by the watchdog last month. The audit, Universal Safety Oversight Audit Programme, seeks to identify if countries have effectively and consistently implemented practices in aviation safety.
