Electric vehicle (EV) sales in India will continue to grow at a brisk clip and reach about a million units a year by 2028, said a top executive of Tata Motors. This growth in sales will be supported by automakers who have planned a slew of new models for the market and fast expansion of community charging infrastructure, Shailesh Chandra, managing director of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility, told ET.
