The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has noticed a spurt in the number of people getting cheated for trying to invest in land near the upcoming Jewar International Airport in Greater Noida, said officials.
Soon after the tender for the airport was floated in May last year, YEIDA had to deal with the illegal sale problem. According to the authority, 128 showcause notices have been issued so far and of these 75 were issued in the past seven-eight months.
