Visakhapatnam: The Indian Institute of Management-Visakhapatnam (IIM-V) launched a leadership development programme for key managerial personnel of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) on Wednesday.
Speaking to TOI, IIM-V director Prof M Chandrasekhar said the three-day programme is preceded by online assignments and projects for participants. “Classes will be conducted in the mornings, while the afternoon sessions will be dedicated to completing the live projects. Even after completing the three-day programme, IIM-V will extend it assistance for the next week for completion of the assignments and projects. The second round of the training programme for IOCL personnel will be conducted in March. Several regional managers, deputy managers and senior managers from across the country will take part in the training programme,” said Prof Chandrasekhar.
The director added that IIM-V will conduct two management training programmes for the faculty of government and government-aided engineering colleges in March.
