ET Intelligence Group: ideaForge Technology, India’s largest indigenous drone manufacturing company that filed offer document for its initial public offering (IPO) on Friday is not afraid on increasing competition in the industry, its CEO Ankit Mehta told ET.
“It (entry of several large and small players in the drone market) is not as confusing for us as much as it is for the customer, because people have not tested their systems in the real world and they end up making very hopeful claims to the customers,” Mehta told the Morning Brief podcast. “It’s not the competition, it’s just that there is too much noise and immaturity in understanding what it takes to deliver real world outcomes to the customer,” he said.
