Hyderabad: An IAF helicopter from Hakimpet base had an emergency landing on the ground of a government school in Jagdevpur village in Siddipet district on Wednesday.
According to Siddipet Commissioner N Swetha Reddy, at around 11 am the helicopter landed on the school ground due to technical problems. “Another helicopter with technical crew reached there and after the repairs, the helicopter left with the crew,” the commissioner said.
Police said that the helicopter was used for training at Hakimpet base. Police provided security to keep the onlookers at bay.
