Hindustan Zinc Ltd (HZL) chairperson Priya Agarwal Hebbar on Thursday said that the company will ramp up production of zinc – that is used in batteries to medicines – to 1.5 million tonnes.
The announcement by the chairperson came during HZL’s annual shareholders meeting. Talking about company’s vision, Hebbar said that she wants to make HZL- India’s largest zinc producer- one of the best firms in the world.
