With an ex-showroom price tag of INR 46 lakh, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV borders on luxury car price territory. However, that doesn’t seem to be a hurdle for customers in India, where aspirations and appetite for premiumness are on the rise. Hyundai Motor India said it sold 750 units of the EV launched in January, with deliveries practically beginning in April.
