Hyderabad: In the wake of the intelligence inputs about possible attacks using paragliders and unmanned aerial vehicles, the Rachakonda police issued a notification prohibiting use of drone cameras or any micro and light aircraft without prior police permission.
In a notification issued on Friday, Rachakonda police commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat said that drone cameras are being used to film weddings and other events without obtaining prior permission from the police and the Directorate-General of Civil Aviation, which is in violation of the rules.
