To increase regional connectivity from Hisar airport, Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala on Sunday said that the State Government is preparing to operate passenger flights to other cities like Jammu, Amritsar, Jaipur, Dehradun, Kullu, Shimla, Dharamshala and Chandigarh. The Hisar airport is being developed with the goal of being a centre for passengers, industrial and cargo operations, he added.
Addressing the gathering at a programme in Chandigarh, the Deputy CM said that the Haryana Government is working on priority to promote drone, aviation sector and provision for this has also been made in the state financial budget. This area offers numerous opportunities for the country and Haryana’s growth.
