The Maharaja Agrasen Airport in Hisar is slated to commence commercial operations from April this year, a senior bureaucrat from the Haryana state government announced on Friday. Additional Chief Secretary Sudhir Rajpal highlighted key developments during a media briefing.
The state government engaged in discussions with Alliance Air to initiate flights connecting Hisar to cities like Chandigarh, Jaipur, and Ahmedabad. Notably, Alliance Air has secured the necessary licenses from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to facilitate operations from the airport.
