Commissioner Secretary PDD Hirdesh Kumar held a meeting of senior engineers of the department in Jammu to review summer preparedness for providing quality power supply to consumers.
This meeting was convened as a follow up of the meeting chaired by the Governor on April 30 at Raj Bhawan Jammu, to review the progress of implementation of decision taken and directions issued in the meeting.
During the meeting, the Commissioner/Secretary reiterated that during this summer there shall be 24×7 power supply to urban areas of Jammu City, Udhampur, Reasi and Ramban Town while daily power cut shall not exceed one hour in urban areas of districts Samba, Kathua, Rajouri, Poonch, Doda and Kishtwar.
