Delhi, one of India’s bustling cities, relies heavily on its public transport system, especially the Delhi Metro, to keep its people on the move. However, today, commuters using the Yellow Line (Millennium City Centre Gurugram to Samaypur Badli) are facing delays due to a track circuit drop issue between Vishwavidyalaya and Kashmere Gate stations.
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) announced the delay on its social media platform ‘X’ (formerly known as Twitter), stating that trains are running at restricted speed in this section, leading to the bunching of trains. To minimize inconvenience, repairs will be carried out during night hours after the closing of revenue service.
