In a major relief for the erstwhile promoter of Jet Airways, Naresh Goyal and his wife, Anita, the Bombay High Court Thursday quashed the Enforcement Directorate (ED)’s money laundering case against the couple.
The case pertaining to the quashing of the Enforcement Case Information Report (ECIR) filed by the ED was heard by the division bench of Justice Revati Mohite-Dere and Prithviraj Chavan. The bench however observed that if any fresh case is registered against the couple by any law enforcement agency, the ED could probe them.
