Mumbai: In a relief for two men who were booked for operating a drone over Pedder Road a day before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Mumbai in June last year, the Bombay high court has quashed criminal proceedings against them.
Justices Nitin Sambre and R N Laddha allowed the petition by Tirthankar Ganguly (43) and Pranshu Dube (33) and quashed and set aside the chargesheet pending before the Girgaum metropolitan magistrate, reports Rosy Sequeira.
Ganguly is a manager with Kalpataru Hills Residency Pvt Ltd that is developing the Hill Crest property on G D Deshmukh Marg next to the Russian Centre for Science and Culture.
